Woodlands Terrace

The flat behind the business name, living in Park Circus was a dream of mine since I began looking out of the window of Glasgow University library and wishing that I lived in one of the perfect dollshouses there. In 2023, I got my wish, and so began a full refurbishment of a two-bedroom top floor townhouse flat in the Park area of Glasgow. Work was undertaken to improve the property's EPC rating (new central heating system and window refurbishment by Ventrolla) and the layout was adapted to reposition the kitchen and move the bathroom, enlarging both bedrooms. A painted wooden kitchen more in keeping with the property's age, a convenient modern bathroom with beautiful tiles and a "utility room" hallway have made this flat both beautiful and useful. Original cornicing was reinstated and new light fixtures and bold paint colours were used throughout, with a favourite Farrow and Ball shade, Dimity, being used in three different locations.
